Decide what can actually be delivered remotely

A US or Saudi buyer working with a creative team in India should separate remote strategy, editing and website content from work that requires physical access. Editing footage supplied by your team is different from filming at your premises. Product photography may require shipping samples or arranging a local shoot. Agree those boundaries before comparing prices so the proposals describe the same work.

Brief the business goal and the asset together

Name the audience, the decision the content should support and the channel where it will appear. “A 60-second product explanation for a website visitor comparing two options” is a stronger brief than “a premium video.” List required ratios, captions, language versions and final formats. Identify the product facts, logos and visual references your team will supply, and distinguish inspiration from assets you have permission to reuse.

Choose a review process that survives time zones

Assign one person to consolidate feedback. Set a review window, revision allowance and approval stage for script, rough cut and final delivery. Feedback should reference timecodes or specific frames instead of scattered messages. US teams should agree named time zones and revisit calls when daylight saving changes; Saudi and India teams should still confirm working hours rather than assuming continuous availability.

Agree language and localization ownership

For Arabic deliverables, name the translator or reviewer and confirm right-to-left layout, subtitle readability and pronunciation checks where relevant. For US-facing content, approve terminology and product claims with someone who understands the audience. A creative team should not silently assume responsibility for regulated, legal or technical statements it cannot verify. Include the reviewer’s turnaround time in the production plan.

Specify what handover includes

Write down whether the deliverables include final exports only or also project files, raw footage, licensed fonts, music documentation and editable templates. Confirm usage rights and restrictions for commissioned and third-party assets. Avoid assuming that every source file or license transfers automatically. For website work, list publishing access and the person who retains ownership of hosting and analytics accounts.

Send a brief that can be quoted

  • Audience, country and primary business objective.
  • Asset list, durations, formats and language versions.
  • Existing footage or product samples available.
  • Need for on-location work and who arranges it.
  • Approval owner, deadline and budget range.
  • Rights, source-file and handover expectations.
